HOW THE COMMISSION PROCESS WORKS
Initial Enquiry -
If you prefer to provide your own photograph:
Share details via the contact form about your horse, preferred size and any reference photographs.
If you prefer photographs to be taken by Susannah:
Outline your requirement via the contact form and request a call. You will be contacted at the first available opportunity, to discuss your requirements in more detail and book a convenient day and time for Susannah to travel to your yard and take photographs, in some cases, reference drawings of your horse.
Composition and Planning - Pose, background and overall feel will be discussed, to ensure the portrait reflects your vision.
Quote - Before commencement of work, your personalised quote will be emailed to you.
Painting begins - Once the necessary information has been gathered and you are happy with the agreement, work will commence. Your oil portrait will be painted to your specification using high quality materials, with progress updates along the way.
Completion and Delivery - The finished painting is varnished, signed and delivered.
